Just some advice. As long as you have people like this representing your club, your recruitment efforts will suffer. An organization whose membership is dwindling needs to address things like this or else they will be history. I would be happy to re-join your club, but things like this are a complete turn off. People that merely offer an opinion should not be attacked in this way. Thank you for listening to my two cents.
