I've been trying to sell them on eBay, for a friend. No luck.

Great dual stamp collecting treat:

(1) Up for buying is this junior 1940 album with over 140 actual vintage stamps inside. Title: "1940 "World Postage Stamp Album (US and Foreign):" 120 pages, over 140 stamps."

I know nothing about stamps, and nothing has been pruned out of this old collection. I am selling this for an estate. Hope you find valuable old stamps.

The album is 9.5 x 6.5 inches. 120 pages. Copyright 1940. 2175 illustrations, spaces for 4000 stamps. Published by Stamp & Album Co. of America, Union Square, NYC.

Condition quite good: "generally very good condition. Pages in very good shape (as original, just faded some with age), and all pages are firmly attached to the binding. Front and back covers are bent. Only one or two pages have small tears. Most of the stamps are hinged into place.."

(2) you also get this great little book: 1978 "All About Stamp Collecting, a Complete Guide to Philately" by Howard G. Treacher and Walter Gray. It rightly describes itself as "An easy to read, graphically illustrated guidebook, designed especially for the beginning stamp collector." Covers every aspect of stamp collection. In the back of the book is a lengthy "Stamp Identifier": it translates the inscriptions on stamps, in alphabetical order, to identify the country, etc.

The book is 4 x 5.25 inches, 186 pages. Loads of illustrations.

Condition: very good.
