Allan, NOT a good tool because...

There is no formally defined meaning for "obsolete". A definition for Nevada chips will not meet a definition for New Jersey chips, nor other gaming jurisdictions.

Case in point. .. visit Four Queens on ChipGuide. You will see plenty of older, no longer issued, nor available from the cage or tables, chips that are designated as "obsolete", yet they can still be redeemed for cash at the cage.

Other than the 2 Pai Gow chips, all of the "obsolete" designated Four Queens chips can be redeemed.
