I am dictating this from my bed, to my friend Mike. I have been bedridden for about three months with treatment for a second go round with cancer. While receiving treatment one of the things that kept my mind focused was my chip collecting. I have been collecting for over 45 years and have a large collection including a big amount from my home country of Canada. I decided to start updating my collection to Canada since the Nevada releases were dwindling. I came across a seller by the name of suited_ace who had many Canadian chips available on ebay...There were a few that were "hard to find" in my opinion ....others he had were more common. So I place a few bids. However Mr Harry vengeful chip god that he is, decided otherwise. He sent me an email through ebay email, stating,.."Unfortunately I believe that you have been contacted by another collector from Ontario to bid on his behalf for certain Canadian chips" .. Well what a surprise two people from Ontario that collect Canadian chips and both consider them worth bidding on...isn't that why Mr. Harry put them on ebay to sell?? He goes on to say "I am not a big believer in coincidence and the fact that you have never bought any of my chips previously and this time have bid only on the chips this other collector does not have in his collection makes me think that this is the case." UM....I did not buy from you before because you did not have anything that I was looking for and I deal with many sellers for a first time...Mr. Harry goes on.. " I have blocked that person for a good reason, actually three accounts he has been trying to purchase chips with. I will never, ever sell chips to him again and will do all I can to ensure he doesn't buy chips from me." ....OK by me, but what does that have to do with me??? His last statement reads.." So unless I am completely wrong and this IS the biggest coincidence I've seen in 10 years selling on ebay I will be forced to cancel all your bids on those particular items, I am going to gather that you didn't get told I blocked this particular buyer and you were just trying to help out a fellow collector out.".. Well who is forcing you to cancel?? Your vengeful thoughts?? Why take it out on me? Is it because I an from Ontario?..Why oh why would I bid for somebody else.. Do you know how many people live in Ontario?? You sir should be reprimanded by the CCC if indeed you are a member IF NOT..then I am stating clearly for all to read...BOYCOT THIS SELLER who decides who he wants to bid on his chips.. I am TOTALLY INSULTED by his assertions. He really must apologize to me for his "thinking." To the person that gave him my information.... In Canada privacy is important. You should have contacted me first to ask my permission. Shame on you !
