I think I figured it out, exactly, after seeing plaque #6, though I need to do some additional research... which I can not find anywhere in France (Europe), and will have to locate that info here in the US (if I'm on the right track...) which, by the composition and method of pigment and its application may just lead to the answer (reason) why the comma since everything else seen on the piece(s) is correct.
