Apparently trading is a thing of the past and not a valuable part of the hobby to many collectors. This deeply saddens me as it is something that drew me to this hobby but of well, nothing we can do about it.
What really does bother me though is what this means for the hobby as a whole and getting new and younger people interested in the hobby. Most younger people and newer collectors don't have a large amount of disposable income or don't want to invest a lot into this hobby but that's what everyone is saying you NEED to do if you want to collect chips. I really feel like this is a negative thing for the hobby.
Maybe in the future I will attempt to start another round robin like I did last year but we will see. Thanks for the replies, Dan R-8220
