Your $5 Eiffel Tower chip is an R8 in James last edition (4th). He estimates value at $750 for average condition. James says an unused $5 is worth twice that.
In The Chip Rack, the value is a "W" which translates to$500-$600 for an "un-drilled chip".
This is a chip that I've never owned but no question it is Ex Rare. The smaller denominations of chips that remained when the place was closed were mostly drilled so un-cancelled chips of $5 denomination are hard to find 60 years later. You can find these 5's drilled for considerably less than $50 these days.
Keep in mind the bear market the chip collecting hobby is in right now. Catalog prices have not been adjusted much in response.
