The governor was supporting casino expansion to North Jersey during the last election. Unlike North Jersey there is very little industry in South Jersey. When casinos go bust, folks who lose their jobs, then lose their homes because they can't find employment and local merchants can't make a living because of casino people out of work and cut back on their employees because of a lack of business which causes the cycle to repeat over and over again which causes more local businesses in surrounding communities to fold. The lack of casino tax revenue that used to pay for municipal services now has to be funded by local property owners.through higher property taxes. .. and the vicious circle jerk continues.
