I will be "On the Road Again" in January and February visiting relatives in Austin, Texas and then going to the Super Bowl Chip Show in Vegas. I will be driving back and forth from Delaware to Austin and then a week later I will be flying to Vegas. In between I will be in Atlantic City for a couple of days trying to sell some chips and raise some money for my Vegas trip.

Shown below are the rooms I have booked for the two trips. One highlight will be staying at the Harrahs Cherokee Valley Resort in Western North Carolina (This the only Harrahs that I have never visited). I have been to every Harrahs in the US and Canada and I have stayed at every Harrahs except one (not counting the newly opened Cromwell)!!

If you look closely, I have "Double Booked" the Harrahs in Biloxi, MS and the Horseshoe in Boosier City, LA for the Texas trip. Depending on the weather, I will take either a Central or a Southern route to Austin, Texas and cancel out one set of the reservations. The best thing is I have 22 nights reserved in the next 35 days and they are ALL comped.

Unfortunate, my Harrahs Diamond card status expires on Jan. 31, 2017 - I failed to re-earn the Diamond card for the first time in about 10 years and I will be a Platinum card member as of Feb. 1st..

I think I will still be able to get comped rooms, but not all the other perks that come with a Diamond card. (Special check-in lines, access to Diamond Lounges, Special Events, Gifts, etc.). However, I think I will be able to survive some how !!!
