After looking around a bit, and taking the advice to stick to Epson, I bought the same scanner again, Epson Perfection V37. It's on it's way out. Discontinued on the Epson website but Epson's selling the last of them on eBay. $64.04 out the door, delivered. I know that I've just committed to being a generation behind, but I don't have to change software, (that I like a lot) and it was almost $30 cheaper than the next best option.
