A good friend of mine is a semi-pro poker player.

Every casino/card room he plays at he brings home a $1 chip as a souvenir/memory.

He currently has about 70-80 of them.

He doesn't care about the hobby or casino history. When I asked him if he wanted to be a member of the Club he laughed.

Would you consider him a "chip collector"?

I think there are several thousand like him around the world..folks that bring home a chip or two for whatever reason.

I certainly wouldn't lump them in as "chip collectors"..
