Great story, Rich! Yes, most of Buddy was a bit over-the-top for this young kid to listen to, but I still remember one routine that always had my mother in hysterics. "The Chinese Waiter" where Buddy plays the befuddled waiter and a group of diners ask for Split Pea Soup ("I sprit you!!") and mix up the order by columns on the menu. At the end, as I remember it, Buddy intones, "Kitchen crosed now! How 'bout ham sandwich?"

Whoa!! I didn't know the Sahara caught fire! I hope it's out by now.
