I am looking at Stamps.com to handle shipping (but they do not take the payments). They can do international first class packages, and they interface with payment sites to import mailing addresses, etc. I have read that they also offer it free (no subscription) to those with Ebay accounts, but apparently you have to ask for the coupon code.

I contacted PayPal to ask why they can't offer the service for web orders when they offer it for Ebay purchases. I got the standard responses: we don't offer it; if we don't offer it it's not available; if we don't offer a shipping option you can go to the shipper's website to get it.

When I eliminate PayPal shipping, it's only a matter of time before I use another payment service on my website as well.
