Who would pay for these merged bb's to operate? It would increase annual costs by around $2600.
Right now it comes from donations and banner ads. No longer just a 'tool' provided by the club if you have to start raising money to fund it and expect someone to administer everything. Then it becomes part (a major part) of the clubs operational business. The major part of the organisation is then no longer 'educational' so we risk losing the 501c3. If you can find a lawyer that disputes that then all I would say is I would never hire him!
You keep questioning the past advice we received and state we should be asking a lawyer. I presume you do know that Eric is a lawyer who owns his own practice and as such has access to all the relevant expertise that led to that advice?
