The upsetting posts I'm referring to, go back to the Election that had some strong nasty name calling. Some suggestions that have been responded to, with a aggressive harsh, answer, which may be may be 100% correct, but not a correct way to treat fellow chippers. I only bring this subject up because I play poker every Sat. night with 16 guys in a home game, many go to casinos often, especially LV. They knew I was a chip collector, and have seen my collection when I host. So I tried to get some interest in a few guys to become collectors and join our club. I said check out our Chip Board, which they did, but all told me they didn't think the club was for them. Remember I live in a Del Webb 55 and older. Probably not a fair sample from a few old guy's.. They had no problem picking up a few chips from casinos they visited just for the memories, so not opposed to collecting, just not interested in joining a club. I guess you could say some chip collectors don't need a club. However the club needs collectors, especially younger. We all know that challenge.
