I haven't opened TCB website in so long now that I can't recall the last time; but for whatever reason I decided to look over the site today. Just wanted to say that I wholeheartedly agree with your comments. Regarding the yearly convention, I don't know if the club has taken in consideration that it is very likely there are members who would embrace an opportunity to attend one of our yearly conventions for the very reasons you outlined, along with several others, yet are not in a financial position to do so.

I understand the club is at a financial disadvantage if anything; therefore while I have ideas regarding the club offering one full yearly scholarship to a member in good standing, or one full scholarship in combination with one or more partial scholarships, I have not observed this to be a viable option. If I am honest, a few other observations have more to do with this than the financial. Having said that, my statement is certainly not meant to be negative in any regard.

If the thought or idea regarding offering scholarships was entertained, of course parameters for this award would be needed. I imagine the same parameters could be used for both a full scholarship offering as well as partial scholarship offerings. I am simply thinking out loud, so to speak. I do, however, both appreciate and as I said earlier, agree with your comments! Thank you for supporting the folks who work harder than most people have any idea towards keeping this club afloat amidst the difficult challenges faced, which in great detail have been outlined, discussed as well as lamented in regard to here on TCB since I have been a member.
