I would like to know what people think and if they don't, what are their reasons.
Over the years I have heard a lot of people explain why they have never joined or decided not to renew.
I have heard people complain about bickering on the chipboard which is unfortunate.
I have heard people say they have a problem with Board or committee members.
I have heard people accuse the club as being a clique and not embracing its
Members.
I even had an experience with someone on Facebook a few weeks back
After pointing out some hypocrisy in statements they made completely unrelated to the hobby.
That person commented this was the reason they are no longer active in the club.
Absurd reply in my opinion but everyone has a right to their opinions.
Now I know some people believe that they can collect without the club and that the hobby will be fine even if there was no .
Now while I can't say that is wrong, I ask those people a question.
Where do you believe the hobby would be without the club?
In my opinion the is the largest single promoter of the hobby.
Year after year the does all it can to promote the hobby thru it's activities and I firmly believe that without the club, the hobby woukd be only a fraction of what it is today.
We need your help and your support.
Each and every person who loves the hobby should be doing everything they can to ensure the success of the
That includes becoming a member, bringing in new members, and volunteering whever you can to do what you can to ensure the success of the club AND the hobby.
In am interested in hearing what other think.
Thanks for listening,
Doug
