The lead tokens were used extensively in Vegas also, Jerry. I still have a bucket full of different tokens and even lead Ike Dollars. I used to know a slot manager who used to save all odd or counterfeit tokens for me. He would just give them to me because he knew if I told him I would never put them in a machine, that was good enough for him. One time, I actually got one when I hit a big hand on a poker machine. I did not reinsert it but gave it to the change booth when I cashed out. They just asked which machine it was, and gave me a dollar for it. I think it was a big problem for the casinos for a number of years , until new technology made the leads just drop through. Then of course came the coinless machines.
