Why do people think it's fair to condemn a businessman for deciding to close a business that is loosing money?
If he were a local man also filing personal bankruptcy due to business losses, would it be OK for him to close the business?
What difference does it make if the guy is a billionaire or bankrupt, deciding to close a business that is loosing money in no way affects "Fairness" to the displaced workers.
Should he be able to find a way to re-invent the business model to re-open the business and thus re-employ people is that a bad thing?
Any employees who don't like the new business, are welcome to seek employment elsewhere.
Is it sad that they won't be making as much money, and have great health insurance, Sure is. Get together with members of your church and offer to help them out, if you are so moved. Quite whining and complaining that someone else should spend their money to do it.
