I think for what our club stands for; especially ChipGuide... I do not feel such a notation regardimg attribition should even be considered for ChipGuide or even repeated again...and, in my opinion, the listing should be removed from NV, and the chip should be listed as unknown location... In 1994 collectors thought NV; in 2006 collectors thought LA... and now in 2016 their expected to believe somewhere in South...?

Still quite strange that several collectors who have been searching from 1996 to find an attribution have come up with nothing. Nothing.

Maybe if we extend the "surrounding states" gig to "somewhere from NY to CA" we might be even a bit more accurate...
