What got you into collecting chips? what brought you to us? (We might learn something)What area of chips do you want to collect? (Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Foriegn or something else?)
My collecting story...

I was at the Stardust about 2 weeks before they were to shut down the Hotel/Casino. I was playing blackjack and the dealer asked if I was going to keep a few chips as souvenirs? I told her I wasn't planning on it....and she explained they were closing it in a coule of weeks. So I agreed to grab a couple. That was in 2006.

I didn't collect another chip until November of 2008. When I got married we were staying on St. Maartin and I went to every casino on the island and got a couple of chips.

In 2009.(spring)we went to Las Vegas. We walked up and down the strip to every casino to get a chip. The next day we went to downtown to get chips from other casinos. This went on for 3 days. Our feet were toasted...I had never had so many blisters on my feet. It seemed as I walked 40 miles in 3 days.

I started to try to collect EVERYTHING. Chips from all over. I still do, but I am learning to scale back a bit. Now I focus on California and Chinese chips....but still pick up chips from other areas.

I post Today's Finds to let people know there are still chips to be found. I will post them whether I find a very nice chip or just a bunch of junk. I do look almost every day when I'm not working.
Random info California...is generally something I might of uncovered about a California card room. Most of the time it is new info. Sometimes it is info people already have. And a few times I am barking up the wrong tree 🤔.
