Hi All. I am very glad to see this subject come up and hope I may be able to provide a unique view on this as I just joined the club this past week, and just discovered this hobby no more than a month ago. I am 26 years old, and have been always been a collector of sorts.
I think first and foremost, I would like to say that my early interactions with club members have been an absolute pleasure. The individuals who post here and club members genuinely seem like they want nothing but the best for the club, its members, and anyone the least bit interested in chipping. This is the type of attitude that will make a club succeed, even if the overall hobby trend is negative. The displays of generosity I have seen already encourage me to want to help this club survive and thrive.
Now, with that being said, it is a bit unfortunate to get into a hobby that has maybe already eclipsed its golden age. I unfortunately don't currently have any solutions or even recommendations as to how this can change, as I am still getting into the hobby, but wanted to throw my voice out there to make sure people know that younger collectors are still out there!
