years ago when I was involved heavily with the comic book industry, the following events occurred. Many of you may know that in the late 60's the San Diego Comic Convention started at the El Cortez Hotel, and it out grew that place by the late 70's early 80's. Then they moved to the facilities where the Theatre is; cannot think of the actual name of that convention center. It wasn't more than about (guessing) 15 years and they out grew that venue and moved over to the new Convention Center on Harbor Blvd. About 15 years into their growth period, they came up with the idea of have 3 days of publishers, vendors and one that was involved with comics, film arts and entertainment industry coming together to ply their wares. As some of you may know you cannot even buy a ticket to that place unless you pre pay it the year before. It is almost like holding season tickets to your favorite sports franchise. It is my belief that if you let vendors of all parts of the gaming industry into our convention, and/or you present your self to the people that go to the WSOP events at their conventions (tournament), in a professional manner they will want to be a part of our club and our convention. It is something that has been mentioned and related to the CB before, I am sure. But, it is worth saying again. Reggie
