Advice to double check every insurance policy.

Both my policies with Allstate and Nationwide included the phrase stamps, cards and other collectables.

When I lost about $5,000 in vintage movie posters the adjuster pointed out the other collectables clause.

I believe when hey takes about additional Insurance they were referring to a personal propertied rider or floater. Under that policy you can schedule individual items that are covered not only for theft but for loss and damage as well. I believe those items also don't carry a deductible.

We schedule all our valuable jewelry and it has come in handy a few times although the costs can be substantial.

Everyone should check their policies carefully just to make sure they are insured.
Sounds like the State Farm policy covers more than some others.
