The summer of 2016 is almost in the history books, however, there's a lot of fun remaining before we turn off the lights.
The next meeting of the Atlantic City Casino Collectibles Club will be held on September 18th, 2016 at Bally's Hotel and
Casino. It will be a great day in AC. The sky will be blue, the sun shining, and a cool breeze coming off the ocean.
The doors will open at 10:00am. Yes, that's right, 10:00am.

If you are planning to attend any meeting this year, this is the one! The Mayor will be in the House. Atlantic City's Mayor
Donald J. Guardian will field "Any" question(s)/concerns. Show support for the Mayor. Come to the meeting, have fun

Recap of May 15, 2016 Meeting
· All officers were present.
· Trade show started at 11:00am.
· There were 38 members with 5 guests present.
· 50/50 Winners: John Chopek $50.00, Frank Gregor $30.00, and Angie Montebello $20.00.
· Jerry Birl conducted the Auction.
· Meeting adjourned approximately 1:50pm.

Club and Atlantic City News
· The 2016 Atlantic City Airshow on August 17th was the biggest ever. I was there, I can vouch for this.
· Live Nation Beach Concerts continues to entertain AC. Jimmy Buffett performed Aug. 13th for the masses in a
record heat wave. Zac Brown Band is scheduled for Sept. 1st. Florida Georgia Line on Sept. 3rd. Rumor has it that
Toby Keith might make an appearance before the concert series comes to an end.
· Mr. Glenn Straub says that the Revel will open by the year's end. Permits are still needed to reopen. Mr. Straub states
that with all the "Red Tape" needed to reopen the Revel, he might "Just pull the plug on the project".
· Taj Mahal is scheduled to close in the beginning of October 2016. Redeem your Chips NOW.
· If/When the Taj Mahal closes, the City still gets its PILOT Money!!!!!!!!
· AC's revenue is DOWN 8% for the month of July.
· MGM Resorts International completes acquisition of the Borgata with Boyd Gaming for $900 million.
· The Golden Nugget offers Statewide On-line gaming with live dealers.
· Our old friend from the Wild Wild West Buffet, Kevin Bloomer, is now the night time supervisor at the Golden Nugget's
Michael Patrick's Brasserie. Be sure to stop by and say hello.
· On July 8,2016, The Showboat reopened. This pet friendly Non-Casino hotel has 850 rooms available and three
restaurants for patrons to enjoy.

The 24th Annual CCGTCC Convention was held in June in Las Vegas. I was glad to see so many members representing
our club. Next year's Convention (The 25th) will be June 21st-24th 2017. Once again, it will be at the South Point Hotel
