Charles...I don't have an answer for you. I did go to Alameda today and talked with a lady who is from Alameda (she's a vendor at the Faire) I did bring one of my Lawyer's Club chips to show her and ask her about. She couldn't remember a place of this name and thought it might be fraternal.(just what she told me) I looked on ancestry.com and the only directory that it would let me bring up was from 1871. I will take another look in a bit.

There are 2 other colors (that I know of) yellow and white.
