You are such a GREAT contributor to ChipGuide, is there some way we can convince you get a scanner that is CCD-based? Your time and effort given to the scanning process deserves the benefit of a scanner that can scan real colors, as well as not produce the herring-bone patterns (Moire Effect) present is some of yours scans.

Please consider getting such a scanner. I believe that you will be impressed with the sharpness of detail and brightness of color!
