Some years back I drove to Rockingham from my cousin's house in Amherst, MA. Got there early - think the cardroom opened at 4 or 5 PM - waiting in the parking lot, walking around town, etc. Finally the doors opened. Nobody at the tables but I asked the elderly lady cashier if I could buy some chips. "No!" she screamed, "No chips for sale here!" Perhaps this is a NH law, buy only from tables? By then I was heartily fed up with the entire Granite State and due back at my cousin's for dinner, so I split. After looking around for her broomstick as a souvenir. Couldn't find that either.

Well, I'm not surprised that Rockingham is closing. I put a hex on the place.
