So my librarian, who we are family friends with, has asked me to present my collection and information on our organization and collecting as a whole. This will be October 19th and I am very excited to do this.
Charles Kaplan provided me with a great power point to start with and of course the cc>cc website provides more great info. I was hoping to get some other info from our members, or if any of you all have provided such seminars? I will be going over some of the info from the convention as some more info for these folks. One other idea I have is to do a give away of one of my duplicate Sahara chips with Sahara dice and Sahara cards (I have quite a few from when I was there before it closed) with the copy of one of our magazines. I am not going to PUSH people to join our organization, but I will have info there for them if they wish.
Id also like some advice on how to display the chips without having to really pass them around. Id like to keep handling at a minimum. I was thinking of getting some tri folds and doing a display of illegals, one of closed Vegas and one of current casinos.
Im looking to do my presentation in this format.
