My take on the hobby
In Response To: Some thoughts on values ... ()

I agree the hobby is strong and many people enjoy collecting as stated above. Our club needs a strong hobby, however the hobby doesn't require a strong club. I love both the hobby and our club, which is a great experience and natural bond. Not sure if hobby or club is growing as fast now days as before. Many posts in past have talked about this subject in the past. My dream is if at least 10% of our club members could find one new member a year, our club would grow tremendously. The question is how is the best way to recruit new members, not sure most members are trying real hard (including myself) I used to talk about our club during poker games in casinos, but have gotten lazy now days. What is the best way to find new potential club members?
