The Brooklyn Hotel building is still there to the east of the motorcycle shop on 3rd and Soscol. It was built in the 1870’s By the Dominic Cavagnaro, I met his grandson several times, Ray Cavagnaro who was a big liquor distributor in and around Napa. Cathy and I would go for Italian dinners there in the early 1970’s long past the Brooklyn Hotel days and 100 years after being built.
