According to today's Los Angeles Times, the City backed down on its $800,000 minimum monthly payment demand and Larry plans on opening Lucky Lady . . . sometime soon. For my part, I hope Larry does pack the City Council with his people, and maybe they could rename the town: Cardena, where everyone can pick a card, any card.
