I've never seen a poker room with such strict enforcement for taking tournament chips.

Not only do they make their usual announcements of death or stoning before each tournament for the taking of chips, they actually go through with them.

An acquaintance of mine tried harvesting a few during a tournament a few years ago, and the eye in the sky caught him, and he was subsequently kicked out of the tournament with no refund, and was 86'd from the property for life. They don't mess around.

BTW, the whites is 25NCV, the purple - 100NCV, blue - 500NCV. Their other standard denomination is yellow 1000NCV. I've been in some of the bigger tournaments over the years that they used red and black 5000 NCV, but those aren't used in the regular Dailies.

One more note, Pechanga has used those exact same tournament chips for at least 10 years. Possibly longer. Many of the chips are falling apart. Pechanga's daily tournaments typically draw anywhere from 100-200 players. You would think a wealthy tribe like that with such a big poker room would invest in new tournament chips..
