I plan on coming back each year that I can. Even for a person who deals with playable quantities, there's still treasures to be found there. You just have to work a little harder to put them together. Besides, where else am I going to find as many snappers as I can there without paying shipping?? I'm trying to get as many set collectors there as I can. Even if they don't find much to their liking at the convention, it still serves as a great gathering place for us. I mean, what's not to like...we're in Vegas surrounded by chips!
It seems to me that slabbing chips would be a bad idea since someone could "slab" a cracked chip on their own and, if well concealed, nobody would know the difference. It's pretty easy to see when a card's been torn in two, but I've seen some fantastic repair jobs on chips to where you might not ever know without magnification.
I went through that whole exhibit hall but never noticed an exhibit on grading...yes, definitely call folks' attention to that!
