The Bahamas, the closest Caribbean islands to the US mainland, give you a 50 year picture of offshore gambling. Here are the dollar chips from my Bahamas collection (and a $5 parrot). If you collect Caribbean, take a look to see what holes you can fill. If you don't, consider Caribbean as a great place to build a historic collection. Many of the chips start under $5, but check out some of the scarcer ones like the Lucayan Beach Hotel, New Bahamian Club, and the Paradise Island green prototype. Did you know there was an early Playboy Club (and casino) in the Bahamas?

The big casino on Paradise Island is a challenge as they've had time to go through a dozen or more revisions. It's now the Atlantis.

See if you can find the Curacao and the Central American casino chips in this batch! Still Caribbean even if Central America is not an island.
