While I've never been to a Convention and probably never will, I once
posted the question asking why it would be held in June - one of the
hottest months to be in Las Vegas.

There were several responses, but the one that summed it up perfectly
was that school is out in June and that's when many people have the
best opportunity to travel - with or without children.
