I was only making a suggestion based on my personal experience several years ago when I attended the convention at the same time the electric festival was occurring. It was not a cheap trip from Ohio. Glad to hear there is no longer a conflict in dates that should provide the out of town attendees less expensive options during their stay since not everyone wants to be restricted to staying at the South Point.
Since the convention is geared for local club members near the Vegas area, it does make sense to keep it in Vegas to maximize participation and attendance. I do think a change in date to a cooler time of the year might attract a few more out of town people would combine the trip with a vacation to the area.
I have been enjoying the casino collectable hobby for several years and wish the club success in growing the membership and increasing the interest in the hobby. I'm happy to see the annual Ohio show that I have attended the last few years grow in participation each year.
Good luck to everyone at the Vegas show.
