Baja Miguel's (Mexican food) is not spectacular but is just fine. Always consistent in service and preparing food. I have only been to the prime rib place once and it was identical to the Prime Rib Loft (from which it was modeled/duplicated) at The Orleans.
Downstairs, over by the poker room is the Asian place, which I have not eaten. It is next to Steak 'n Shake, which is... well, I'm not sure how to say this. We ate there just last week and were very disappointed at the significant increase is prices. And, they got "cheap"! I ordered a burger that came with a choice of 3 different sauce sides. I asked for Ranch as a side instead, and they wanted to charge me 25¢ for the side, even though I was not taking one of the 3 sides offered, AND they equal the same is size. While the 25¢ was not a big deal, I was NOT told ahead and was just charged for it. When the Manager could only express her "Sorry, I don't make the rules" I decided to do a Comment Card. On the card I told them I would never eat at the Steak 'n Shake again. This was in addition to getting chocolate shakes with hot-fudge smeared on the inside of the glass and not a good glob of it. And, the Cookies and Cream shake had to go back for a better measure of cookies.
They are pinching pennies so hard, they are losing customers because you won't see me there again!
(Sorry, I love the South Point, but when they are wrong, they need to be told!) Thanks for letting me vent and remeber the Garlic Relish I mentioned at Don Vito's!!!!
