Re:Warning: Troll vs. Troll Flame War reply herein

Taking your response line by line:

"What is my problem"? Just that I was unimpressed with your business style in our transaction. I felt mention of it, so that other potential customers would have more info, would not be unwarrented. Much like posting a neg for a seller on eBay after an unsatisfactory transaction.

Comments "Unwarrented and very immature". Back at ya! TYPING (SHOUTING) IN ALL CAPS is unwarrented and immature. Or shows a lack of knowledge of, or not caring about, a civilized discussion of grievances. In my opinion "unwarrented and very immature" is when a businessman attempts to blame the customer for his short-comings in a failed transaction. Unfortunately we've all probably been caught in the trap of doing that at one time or the other.

"Just" because I didn't get my chips right away. I'm sorry, I don't understand that. When you pay for a purchase there is a expectation of it being shipped to you in a reasonable time frame. After paying on April 15th, I wrote to you on the 26th about shipping status, and you then shipped the chips on the 29th. Is it really "unwarrented and very immature" on my part to post a comment on that?

"You screamed like a baby" Back at ya! What are you doing now? I'll be happy to forward our email exchange to anyone interested in seeing the tone of the original source material.

Stop badmouthing people: Back At Ya!

"Running out of people who want to do business with you" OH! Back At Ya on that one! The 1 neg I recently got on eBay must be the start of the fall of my empire! grin I wonder where this thought of yours came from? Is it something that worries you about yourself? Although I'm unwilling at this point to prove it, to maintain privacy of the senders, I've had people email me privately about not wanting to do business with you for the same reasons that bothered me. Including your slow shipping of their orders too!

"Some of us have other things to do, like traveling..." Yes, that was your excuse for why my chips were not shipped on time.

"And run a business" In my opinion you're not doing too well at that, when the traveling part of your life interferes with proper business practices, like shipping orders on time.

"Past Experiences with you" One transaction...

"Not welcome here" Top notch businesses all tell their customers that... Or is it more like "We hope that this mis-step in our transaction does not keep you from ordering again and giving us another chance at serving your needs."

"Selling good stuff with good service for over 20 years" That may be. You're not entirely stupid. Your marketing of your store with its exterior design is quite smart: First get'em to stop and look, and then get 'em into the store. Can't make sales without that first step. You are a good salesman. In My opinion though, your sales style is more stereotypical Used Car salesman - Make any statement not wholly false even tho' a bit misleading in the heat of the moment of the sale. My background is in real estate sales where we (often by law) can't use seat of the pant's sales statements, so I guess we just have a different mindset and expectations. I also ran my family's restaurant for 20 years, so I am familiar with what works for good customer service. In the case of our transaction, I wasn't feeling it from you. You guarenteed your statement about the chip, and it turned out to be incorrect, or at best, misleading. You set out conditions for return in a way that I could not comply with, due to my having traded other chips that were included in the sale, which I told you about, only to have you offer the same return conditions again, safely knowing that I couldn't comply, so you'd get to get away with not refunding and honoring your guarentee.

"Go drive someone else crazy" Back At Ya!

P.S. Seriously: Also good salesmanship to tell me not to come into your store! How would you recognize me I wonder? Makes me want to try just for the fun of it... First step: Get 'em into the store...
