I agree that the Chip Guide may not be not always be right. And I agree with Gene that it IS bothersome that is doesn't say no cash value (or tournament).
There are not enough pictures from other listings of their chips to make a comparison with.
Not a lot of listings for any tournament chips from Casino Morongo as of yet.
The only 3 "house" chips with hot stamps, 1 is a different style, and the 2 "wave" designs don't look to be the same size. Not to mention a different type of chip. No definitive help there.

Whoever first decided on Tournament may have set the stage for the other databases to follow suit. I don't know. I don't think the Chip Guide listed it carelessly as tournament as there are other sources to back them up on it.
Is there somebody around who can give a definitive answer? Remembers playing with the chip at a tournament? Or knows that it was part of a prototype group proposed for the casino? Or???
