I was just saying that most of "US" would think he was crazy to give it all away. I think he is crazy, but I like crazy 🤔 I am really considering doing the same as John....maybe sooner than later.
I have let collecting casino chips (and other casino items) control my life for almost 10 years. I look at the ChipBoard for1-2 hours a day sometimes. EBay another 1-2 plus. And research clubs, owners names, for sometimes 2 -10 hours a day. I go to every antique, coin, 2nd hand shop within 60 miles of my house at least once every 2-3 months. I go to every antique show within 100 miles. It's overwhelming sometimes. I feel like I am sometimes wasting my life away.
I was once told by someone.....why do you waste so much time researching and then giving away all the info for free? Other people are selling chips off your hard work!!

I do it because I feel it is what is best for the hobby. I never started collecting to make any money. I may sell an item or two from time to time....but I would rather trade any day. In most cases.... I would also rather have the history of a place than to have the chip itself.
