CHIP TRADING THE SHORT VERSION
10 QUICK POINTS
Try to be an equal partner in the trade, do not make one party of the trade do all the work.
I try not to do lateral trading. In other words; I do not like to trade any chips I only have one of for another chip I do not have any of; and I have it in my personal collection already.
Commons for commons, Current table chips for current table chips, new racks for new rack.
Denominations should be handled the same as commons, in most cases a $5 chip for a $5 chip.
The obsolete group…these have to be traded based on the Guides valuation. And/or the asking price.
It is always up to the two people that own the two chips that want to trade; to be satisfied with the trade. It is a trade when it is mutually acceptable to both parties.
I prefer to trade with CC-GTCC members, because of the honesty of this group is impeccable. I do and have made trades with non-members.
Try not to send severely nicked, damaged, or extremely dirty chips.
A trading policy, is usually never the same with any two chip collectors, try to briefly explain your trading policy up front as soon as possible, in order to circumvent any surprises.
Always let the trading partner know when you receive your chips.

THE NEW CYCLE
AKA THE NEW GROUPINGS
OF THE PAGE OF THE DAY
Starting approximately June 30th I am initiating a new format of the Page of the Day.
Here is what I have come up with. To make things easier on this “ole man” I am going to group 4-6 pages together for a giant POD. Also, rather than displaying a page every single day, I will display the group of pages every so often. I am not sure how often at this point. One thing I am fairly sure of, is that; Saturday will be one of the days I will probably do a post. The week days I am not sure of now, I will be experimenting a lot in the beginning.
If I see you at the show in LV, I will try to explain it a little more thoroughly. Thanks for listening, Reggie…
