I think I may have made up for not finding anything earlier this week at the long yard sale. Today I went out to sales in the rich part of town. I had 8 places to stop on the list including two community sales. I didn't find much for most of the day until I was headed home. I had one place left to visit and kept on running into other sales and managed to buy about 1 1/3 ounces of silver. On one stop just before the last address I found a guy who said he had some coins after I asked about them. He went into the house and came out with a small box. The only thing I wanted in the box was a beat up liberty half dollar. He also had a token that he joking said he would pay me to take off his hands. I looked at it and it was dated 1922 and had all sorts of strange initials on it. He thought it may be a KKK token but I told him I didn't think so (I thought most of them had KKK on them). He said he got it from he great uncle who was born around 1890. I told him I didn't know what it was but that I would give him $5 for just because it looked neat. It turns out it is a 1922 KKK membership token from Oklahoma. The only value I could find on it was one ebay sale last year for $101, His wife also has a few silver dollars but was not ready to part with them yet so I gave them my card for when they are ready. I will put this token on Ebay when I have a chance.
