1-How are the Borland fakes being sold out there, in anyway be define as real Casino chips!!!! When the simplest of all definitions of such is that that chip was used or made to use at a particular casino!! Except for the real casino chips he actually made for casino...what casino were these Borland used at or were supposed to be used at.

2- I agree that all you mentioned are part of casino memorabilia and agree with you on it 100%. But they all share something that the Borlands do not...they were actually used at or for the casino they shared their name with. What do the Borland fantasy share with these true casino memorabilia.

Also in our Casino chip catalogs, I do not see any of the items you mention there, simply because is a "casino chip catalog", therefore how can you justify putting the non-casino chip Borland fakes in it, if you are not going to add ash trays, matches, and all other real casino chips memorabilia. You cannot put any of them because is a catalog of true casino chips, not memorabilia and certainly not a catalog of non-casino little pieces of art never used in any casino.

3- Everything you mentioned as casino chip memorabilia was used or at list was made to be used in a certain casino! Under what casino were all this Borland Fantasy meant to be used or used?????

Can you really justify putting a Borland Fantasy let's say in the page of "The Mint" casino, together with all other articles you mention used in the casino, when the only thing that is remotely attached to that casino was a name somebody put on a piece of clay to sell that piece of clay.

You can certainly put them in the history of casino chip collecting, is a great story, important to the collector, but that still in no way makes them a true casino chip, just like you cannot call a real casino chip a fantasy!

My point is simple: A Borland Fantasy cannot be defined as a casino chip and should never be treated as such.

If you feel they are important enough then a separate page specifically for Borland Fantasy chips should be created in both, the guide and the TCR. That may very well make everybody happy and we are calling things as they are, not conforming things in order to fit our wants or needs.
