You probably know about the $5 Flamingo chips (the rare ones) that are out now....well, I was the one that uncovered them. I got them at an Orange County coin dealer's shop for $1.00 each.....since I had 100 of them, I traded a bunch to Boreland for chips I didn't have. At that time, I had no idea what they would be worth, nobody else did either.......I got some great chips. We traded in his Las Vegas apartment with Starr close by observing.

Bill had not produced any chips at that time but was a very serious chip collector. Starr was his right hand.

I consider his chips to be legit collector's chips as long as everyone knows what they are.....
