and agree with Gene, should be listed in a reference guide but with a clear description or warning of what they are. Every chip collector is free to collect what he/she wants, including "non-chips." The problem comes when such items are later offered to sale to other novice or ignorant collectors, either innocently or otherwise. BUYER BEWARE is always a good rule, learn about the history of our hobby and research what you're buying before money changes hands. Like when you go to that corner yard sale and pick up the "Picasso."
