Worthless? ....... Hardly.
While the prices have gone down on most of them premium pieces still sell for a lot of money.
When I got out of the sports card hobby I thought it was history.
Now I see premium graded cards selling or record breaking prices.

They also say that people who collected these things wasted their time.
I completely disagree with that statement.
If you collect the things you love and not as an investment, you will never be disappointed win your purchases.
