Larry I respect and understand your believes,
I simply see things that are very wrong in this scenario
.
You are putting the "wants" of very few who just want to make a point, after all they have and can use the bathroom better suited for their biological tools ( urinals in one, extras toilets on the other), and forgetting the wants of a much larger population who simply do not want their little girls to watch a stranger's penis, who will no longer use the mirror as they feel uncomfortable changing in front of a person with a penis, who simply feel very uncomfortable peeing and changing clothes in front of a strange person.... do not they have the rights to their "wants" as well???
Yes, the few trans feel uncomfortable using the bathroom that goes in accordance to their biological sex, I can fully understand it, but by doing this they are forcing a much larger population to also feel very uncomfortable with the presence of a penis in their most private moments... So, their "wants" or action causes a reaction, so who deserves to be comfortable here???
But, again, just like they did not really want to make others uncomfortable, they do not want to force extra rest rooms, but they are!! And my problem is that although they do not want to hurt the disabled..THEY ARE!! The only solution for these hospitals to avoid getting sued by either the Government or a victim, because most are self insured, is to make an extra bathroom, and of course the disabled, who do NEED a special bathroom, now will be walking to the hospital when they need to go to a disabled bathroom...and most probably will not even make it, the reason why these extra bathroom were initially being built...... is that right??
So, sometimes your innocent wishes and desire that others understand your pain, can bring a large chain reaction, and although you just wanted to feel more comfortable, you are making the rest uncomfortable, you are putting kids at risk during one of their most private moments, causing unnecessary economic burden, and worse, you could be hurting the most fragile population of this world, the disabled.
So, I surely understand their plea and those who support it, but why can't they and their government understand the plea of the others/? Who is the bigot here??
