I sincerely apologize if I came across as calling you a liar. That was not my intent at all. But your post did not make it clear what your real issue is. The press and a surprisingly large part of the population seem to be off the rails on the crazy train, but the DOJ, Obama, and "the new liberals" are most definitely not suggesting that hospitals create transgender bathrooms. North Carolina has enacted a law that many people find discriminatory. Predatory behavior is already illegal, and someone who is intent on using a bathroom as an opportunity to prey on other people isn't going to be the least bit dissuaded by this law. All this law does is create criminals out of people who just want to go about their lives as the people they are. I can assure you the transgender community is not clamoring for special bathrooms. They just want the freedom to go about their lives.

You know what would create more security in bathrooms? Security cameras. And before he asks, yes Jim, you can be in charge of watching for perverts. But in the America I love, we have to find a balance between privacy and respect on one side, and security on the other. Do we really have a crisis across this country of perverts invading bathrooms? Or do all the perverts live in North Carolina?

Please don't blame transgender people, their lives are not great. For the most part they are just trying to deal with the fact that mother nature has a wicked sense of humor, and sometimes plants a penis on a girl. Please don't blame the DOJ for defending the constitution and opposing discrimination and bigotry no matter how small the target group is. You can blame them for sometimes NOT protecting innocent people until the issue blows up in the media. Feel free to blame the media for EVERYTHING that is wrong with this world, except they're only catering to the crazy people who hang on every word out of Kanye West's mouth. And by all means blame the politicians in North Carolina who fell off the deep end of paranoia by chopping off the arm instead of lancing the boil.
