These two Louisiana illegal chips are among a group of chips a vendor told me he found while tearing down a house in Kenner, La -- a suburb of New Orleans. He said the homeowner told him to take them because they "just caused trouble" for a relative who stashed them away just before going to prison for a variety of charges including gambling.
That's all I know for now, but the vendor says he has some $25 and $100 chips and even a $500 one in the lot. He would not say how many was in the lot, but agreed to bring a couple to next weekends flea market. He has no idea of what he wants for them. As I said, he was just tearing down a house and found them in a wall. Does anyone have any idea as to value on these chips? I am here near Biloxi, MS taking care of a little business before our convention in Las Vegas. These images were taken from the chipguide so I could illustrate the chips.
